St Robert Southwell is a Catholic, Voluntary Aided Primary school in the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton. We serve the parish of St John the Evangelist in Horsham. The Governors aim to offer a distinctively Catholic education for children from 4 years to 11 years of age. They expect parents to uphold the Catholic character and ethos of the school. These expectations are reflected in our Admissions Policy, which gives full details of the criteria we apply when admitting children into the school.

Admissions Arrangements for Reception Class 2023-24
 

The application round for September 2023 opens on 2nd October 2022 (WSCC online portal). All applications must be received by 15th January 2024. Parents and carers will be informed of their child's school placement in April 2024.

As a Catholic school we also have a Supplementary Information Form (SIF).  All applicants are asked to use this form. We can send a copy to you or you can download it below.The SIF for Admissions in 2023-24, together with our determined Admissions Policy can be found at the bottom of this page.  Paper copies of these documents are available from the School Office.

Parents & Carers will be advised of their child's school placement by WSCC in April 2024

In Year Admissions

The over-subscription criteria in the Admissions Policy will also apply to applications made outside the normal age of entry to primary education (Reception Year) i.e. in succeeding years or during the academic year.
