School Council

Our School Council

The School Council is elected by fellow pupils. Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 has two representatives, each Council serves for one year, with a new Council being elected every September.

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.

The School Council have regular meetings, and also organise special events.

The school council meet regularly to discuss concerns from their classes or to talk about the latest project.

Here is our School Council prayer

Prayer for the School Council

God, the source of every good gift,
You have called us together as servants to do Your will.
Grant us the light of Your Spirit
To guide us in our responsibilities as a School Council.
May we work together in harmony for the common good.
May we listen to one another in a spirit of genuine respect.
May we encourage one another’s unique talents.
May we approach our decision making through discernment and prayer.
May we respond effectively to the needs of the children in our school.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
