Religious Education

As a Catholic school, we follow a national scheme of work called Come and See.

We place religious education, prayer and worship at the centre of our community. Our Catholic faith underpins our daily work and what we teach the children is central to our decision-making.

Our scheme of work for religious education is structured around themes which the children explore throughout the year and each theme gradually builds on the understanding of the previous one. You may view some sample pages of the Come and See programme on https://www.comeandseere.co.uk

 

In Autumn – Family-Belonging. To start the year Come and See begins with my story within the home family and our school family.

 

In Spring - Our local community and church - Relating.  The parish is where people gather together to celebrate and care and love for each other.

 

In Summer - The worldwide community- Reconciliation. In the Church, God is calling together his people throughout the world.
